I own a Maxent 50x3 and I was curious if anyone here has calibrated one before?

I haven't calibrated one. But, I do know you need to use RS-232 to access the calibrator controls. The calibrator will have write a small program or some RS-232 scripts to change the controls. I imagine this would cost extra over a normal calibration fee.

Thank you for the tips, BobL. I actually contemplated messing around with the rs-232. In the ultimateavmag review a special service menu remote was mentioned. I figure my tv would look great with a 6500k grayscale and more accurately tuned colors.
