Height and Depth will not be an issue.
HDTV nice to have, but not a deal breaker.

I've got a Toshiba 26HF66 that I'm very happy with. It's an HDTV crt and it's 27.5 inches wide. 16:9, flat tube, 2 component and 1 HDMI inputs with NTSC, ATSC, and QAM cable tuners. Toshiba discontinued it earlier this year, but Buy.com has them new and in stock for $539 after delivery. You might be able to find one locally too, and there appear to be several online outfits selling refurbished units.
