When I got my 42PWD7 a little over 2 years ago it included a wall mounting bracket but it was more suitable to use a tabletop stand in my bedroom. Now that I've switched to the 50PH9 we want to set up the PWD7 in my brother's room where wall-mounting would work best.

I'm a little lost as to how all the pieces fit together. There's nothing in the manual about the wall-mount and I don't know its model number so I can't look it up either. There is the black bracket itself, a set of four screws with jackets (presumably for bracket-to-wall), another set of four screws (bracket-to-plasma?) and 4 little round black things.

Which way does the bracket go? How exactly is the plasma connected to the bracket? What are the little round black things for?

If anyone can offer some guidance I'd really appreciate it. I can take photos of the bracket and bits and pieces later if need be.

Ok I think I've figure it out. I'll upload the pics bit by bit.

The bracket has two "wings" if you will which stick out. I think the bracket needs to be placed with the wings flat against the wall using the screws so that the majority of the bracket body sticks out from the wall a bit.

Then there a four big black screws on the plasmas back (pictured) which need to be removed. The buffers (at least I think that's what they're meant for) go in their place and the bolts are screwed in the same wholes through the buffers will a little room to spare below the bolt heads.

Then the plasma is picked up, the heads of the bolts are aligned and placed into the larger wholes on the bracket and then as the plasma is lowered it grips onto the bracket.

If I've gotten anything wrong please let me know. I really don't want to do all that work only for the back of the plasma to rip apart and the screen to come crashing down to the ground :p

Buffers and bracket from both sides.
