My problem is the HDMI stoped working on my old DVD so i bought another DVD player, played ok over HDMI then half way through a film blank screen , so i have 2 players that are ok over scart to my Tosh 27ll56 LCD but neither will work over HDMI anymore . I have tried another cable still no luck, i had it put to me that my lcd's HDMI connection is damaging the HDMI on the 2 dvd's i have tried , Can this happen? could my LCD have damaged the HDMI connection on my 2 players? i dare not try another player just in case plz help thankyou Akky :D

Do you have another HDMI TV to try it on?
Maybe a friend can let you try it on thier set.
I'm personally having some issues with my panny 7UY where one HDMI cable works and doesn't, in my DVD player, but both work in my STB.
