Not sure if someone posted something like this before, but last night the wife thought she was putting a movie in the PS3 to watch (can't use the XBOX it is in a coffin for RROD) and accidentally grabbed my RB6 Vegas and put it in the PS3. It actually read it and a screen comes up telling you to put it in an XBOX. :D

Standard feature of all XBOX disks since the original.
Placed in a DVD drive of any kind, they display that bit of video rather than force re-read after re-read in the playback device.
Polite isn't it?

now if they were smart, they would have some apparatus built in to scratch up all XBOX discs!

My question is: How does your wife mistake a 360 game for a movie? Every 360 game has a huge white XBOX 360 logo plastered all over it.

That's the same with my wife. She has absolutely no idea.

Because she is a woman? She doesn't pay attention, otherwise she wouldn't have married me.

It's not the PS3 detecting that it's an Xbox disc, it's the disc detecting that it's not in an Xbox.

The ps3 is the reader. Yeah, the disc is programmed to tell ps3 it's the wrong player, but the ps3 reads and applies abrasion to the disc. Using the Core, of course! :D
Stupidity knows few bounds.

Apparently, my 360 has this feature already built in. Rest in peace, NBA 2K7 :(

Lol...its a good question though, was the game inside a DVD case or something? Im not understanding how she didnt realize it was a game disc ; ) My wife is ignorant when it comes to electronics, but she can read a disc!! Pretty funny though, Ive never seen that message so I might have to stick an Xbox disc in my PS3 just to see it

Cool my last 360 gave me that screen sometimes. Apparantly it wasn't a 360 sometimes.
