Please help!!! This is my first post ever so sorry in advance if I am not posting in the right spot etc. Last Tuesday I purchased a Samsung 61” LED DLP, Model: HLT6187S. I read lots of reviews and most were really positive. I had it delivered on Wednesday by ABC Warehouse and on Thursday Comcast Cable came out and hooked up the HDTV giving me a new box. The picture is absolutely horrible even per Comcast. The picture freezes, there are halos around any lettering on all channels and on HD channels there are several white dashed line that flashed horizontally across the screen about every 4 seconds. Comcast did what they could and left. I called Comcast again and they came out two more times. Today when Comcast came they unhooked the cable and the TV did the same thing. They also hooked the DVD to the TV (disconnected from cable) and it did the same thing. Comcast checked everything, the HD box, the remote, the TV settings, and the inside and outside wiring to no avail. I am going to go back to ABC Warehouse tomorrow morning to see if they will exchange it. Comcast thinks the TV is a lemon, has anyone ever had a lemon TV right out of the box? I know I have bad luck but geez! I am worried that if I exchange for the same TV I will still have problems. I know it now sounds like the TV but Comcast also said it was possible that Comcast isn’t up to 1080p yet, only 1080i. All TV’s at ABC Warehouse in my area are 1080p. Has anyone ever had this problem and if so, what did you do? Any comments would be greatly appreciated. Thank you Thank you Thank you. Michelle :(
