I have a new Scientific Atlanta 8300 HD DVR (with my Samsung LN-T4065F). For some reason, when we set closed captioning to "on with mute" we get nothing. Closed captioning simply "on" works fine.
We are hooked up using HDMI and using 16:9 mode. I tried all the different CC1,2,3,4 options, but could get "on with mute" to work. Found it really weird that it works if permanently on, though. Anyone else with this problem or with guidance? Couldn't find any other threads on this one specifically. Thanks!
