Ive had my sony KDS50A2000 50inch 1080p tv for 6months now...hooked up my hd scientific atlantica dvr box via HDMI...NO PROBS. Had all resolutions checked off on box settings....and whatever resolution channel was in...boom the tv followed and all worked fine and dandy.


Suddenly...I find that NOW....when changing channels from one resolution to the other..the tv blinks (as it used to)...but when pic comes back...its just SNOW ...full 16:9 high def snow! I cant even see the tv show info at the bottom anymore!...even if i turn off the cable box...still SNOW. The only way to resume the picture is to toggle inputs (tv/video button)....and then its fine.

NOTE- this doesnt happen every time i change resolutions...but happens >50% of the time...very annoying to have to keep hitting video button. I have been forced to set cable box to ONLY output at 1080i...but it irks me.

any suggestions????? is this normal.
