Were in the process of building our new house and I will have a dedicated media room. I was planning to purchase a DLP projector but I've decided to go with a large rear projection DLP tv instead. I'm looking at the 70 inch or larger sets. It looks like Mitsu, Samsung, and Toshiba makes DLP televisions larger than 70 inches. I currently have a 46inch Samsung DLP and I love it. I think I'm leaning towards Mitsu this time but they have 3 or 4 different models for the 73 inch DLP.

Ive been searching for a comparison chart to see the differences between the different models but I cant find one. I like the WD- 73831 but is it worth the extra $$ over the other models?

Any advice and info on the Mitsu differences would be appreciated.

Go to mitsubishitv.com and you can pull up comparisons of the different models.
The 73831 is an '07 model and will eventually be replaced by the '08 model. There are dedicated threads on this site to the difference in the model years (you can get really good deals on the 73831 now).

IMO, look at both Mits and Samsung.
