I just wanted to thank all the regular posters on this forum for the wealth of information you leave behind, I am a college kid that doesn't have much money and recently purchased an older Sony kp-51hw40, It had some major issues with colors being ridiculously hazy and focus problems. After visiting this site and about an hour of cleaning the tubes and mirror, and adjusting the focus knobs and color on the front of the TV I turned my $150 dollar investment into what is now a perfectly functioning 51in HD TV. You guys are awesome!
