Hi people :)

I'm new here, :) I come from Slovenia :) this is small country.

Please help me.

I will renovate my room and i doesn't know which color let use and what kind of samples let draw on wall.

I have room for home cinema, teaching and for a sleeping. My room is 2x4m (200cm 400cm).

I beg you guys write me please a couple ideas for painting my room. :)

My English is bad ;/ I hope that you understood me. :)

And please write me a link's and add picture's for renovating room. :rolleyes:

Welcome.

People will use dark colors on their walls to reduce reflections and distractions when watching the screen. I don't know what you mean by samples to draw on the wall.

I think 2x4m is about 6.5ft x 13ft, I am not sure what you mean by teaching. You will have to decide if that means you need more light or less (lighter colors can improve your lighting in the room - more reflections).

You will need to decide what is going to be best for your needs, only movies - dark color, only for reading - light colors, sleeping - who cares, your eyes are closed.

There are many links on this site to see what other people have used for color combinations. I don't have any pictures yet, becasue I have not built anything at this time.

I study in my room and sleeping.:) not with projector.

Next month i buy a projector Sanyo z-5 for 950EUR. :)

As Chiahead says, the best for home theater and front projection is a darker, neutral color. Avoid white or any light intense color.

I see your room size is kind of small - approx 6 feet by 12 feet. Have you thought about painting one half dark and the other half light?
