I'm begging you with all of my heart to save your money and NOT purchase Full Metal Jacket. 74 blu-rays, and it is the WORST picture quality of my entire collection. It looks like it was shot on 8mm. Yes, it's that bad.

If you must get it, wait until the newly remastered version is released on BR in a week or two.

The FMJ I ordered from the Warner store has the same release date as the other Kubricks - 10/23/07 - so it's the new version.

I think they are running their web server on a 66MHZ 486 on dialup. I'd like to order some DVD's and don't want to take all day doing it but the bargains are worth it so I'll stick it out and hope that my browser doesn't crash.
