i am lookin into buy the samsung hl-s5679w led dlp hdtv and was wondering if anyone knew anything about them are they good how what is the life expectancy???????? i did a search and couldnt find anything

Just do a search on LED DLP's if your just looking for the life expectancy of the LEDS. As for the set, i love mine and the picture is superb. After post calibration it looks great. Not worth the extra $600.00 for the 2007 LED model IMO because the PIC quality is the same. If you just like the fact your model is newer then spend the extra and get the 5687 or 5689 but the 89 is like 1200.00 more then the 5679.

some people were sayin about the new one the 89 i think that u have to set like 11 feet from it and it verticaly view sensitive is that true with the 79 to? thanks for the help
