Hi, all. I'm in the market for a DVD/VCR combo for my parents and looking to spend $250-$300. Any suggestions? It doesn't have to be anything too immaculate. It is my parents, after all. Thanks.

Tulpa 08-06-07, 08:44 PM For that price, you can get one that records both VHS and various DVD formats if its needed. Do they have an HDTV? Some units are upconverting DVD players. Otherwise, a simple unit will go from about $70-$110. Basically, any name brand will probably do. http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/DVD-VCR-Combos/sem/rpsm/catOid/-13255/N/20012866+20012872+20013255/link/ref/rpem/ccd/categorylist.do gardsal1 08-06-07, 09:02 PM They don't have an HDTV yet, but I believe they're in the market. They've never really been into the gadgets, but they're celebrating their 50th anniversary, so I thought I'd spend a little more and get them a good one. Thanks for the quick reply. |
