I ordered a PT-AX100U from Visual Apex last week and they are giving away a free mount with it. Does anyone have any experience with this mount from Abtus?
I believe the model is AV-817U. I was using a DIY mount I made a few years ago, and this one looks nice for the low low price of free. I just don't want to mount this and find out later, as my PJ comes crashing down, that it is a POS.

It would take a really horribly designed mount to fall down with a 10 pound object attached to it, assuming it was installed correctly.

Yes I did get the mount. I think its great for the most part. If I could change one thing it would be the locknut used on the main pin. But ohterwise I highly recomend it.

The purchase was very smooth, ordered on Friday and had it by the next Wednesday. They have a good warranty ext for cheap which covers the bulb too.

I got the free Sanus mount from Projector People and am very happy with it.
