I've been assured by two (potentially three) seperate employees at DirecTV that Superfan is NOT required to receive the games in HD. Apparently it's comes with standard Sunday Ticket and HD Access.

If this is true, their website Superfan advertisements are very deceiving.

Can anyone confirm what they told me is true or not? I'm going to be angry if I spend week 1 without HD games.

Week 1 is usually a free preview week for Superfan, so it's week 2 when the SF requirement kicks in.

Try calling again and if they answer the same, have them note your account that you will be recieving the HD games for no additional charge. Then when it doesn't happen, you'll have a leg to stand on.

Check your account online, maybe they gave you SF for free.

You absolutely must have Super Fan with NFL ST to get the HD games.
