I just bought a Sharp XV-Z3000 off EBay and need a ceiling mount. What do you know about these? (Listed in order of pictures below:)

#1 This one looks the most typical to me, it's $45 shipped.

#2 This one is only $30 shipped, but I think it is partially made of plastic, but it might do the job.

#3 :eek: Finally, I found a cool aluminum one on EBay for $45 (shipped) I am a little concerned that the gymbal (not sure it that's right term) or swivel can do the job. Has anyone else tried this mount?

I have an InFocus SP 7210 and am looking to buy a ceiling mount as well. Do I have to buy the official one or are these things standardized? I have the "mounting plate" which gives the ceiling mount something to screw into but don't want to pay $239 for a ceiling mount. ~$40 is much better :)

just go to EBay and search "mount" with your projector model. I went with the DX-100 (or whatever, the last one pictured), it's the aluminum one. It is a bit of a pain tightening all the screws with the supplied allen wrenches, but it works well. I should have bought a cheaper one, but I didn't know I was going to have to enclose my projector because it is too loud. I bought the fancy one and no one will ever see it!
