I did a forum search and, being over 40 and thus somewhat computer illiterate, found either 500 threads or...nothing. Just got a new 60" XBR2 which Sony "traded" for my deceased XBR950. Trying to find a list of recommended settings. Not interested in convoluted ISF settings of service menus, just basic recommendations by those more experinced and knowledgeable than I.

No 2 TVs (or viewing rooms) are the same. Get yourself a calibration DVD such as AVIA or DVE to properly adjust the basic settings.
