I recently had my Samsung HL-T6189S calibrated by Dave from Avical and it looks amazing by the way. I originally had my Denon DVD-3930 hooked directly to my TV via HDMI when it was calibrated. I now have a new Denon AVR-3808CI receiver that I was thinking about using the HDMI switching capability of and just using a single HDMI cable out to my TV for all sources.
My question is, will this effectively undo the calibration done for my DVD source since it's now going to a different HDMI input on my TV (the one where my DirecTV DVR is connected). Should I abandon this idea and continue to go directly from DVD to TV and was also wondering if the video processing of the receiver was overriding the 3930's processor which is better (Realta vs. Faroudja)?
