TheDynaMike 08-07-07, 03:48 PM Kelson, do you and Jmas and SLPRp1 not have anything better to do than sit on this site all day and make sure no one talks about copying dvd's? Talk about losers. Look at how Westgate handled the situation. He was nice about it. He mentioned the copyright laws, but he wasn't an a**hole about it. Why are you so interested in copyright laws? What have copyright laws ever done for you? You are clearly "American" to the bone, and you probably even support our o so wonderful 'child' president. There's alot more serious laws out there that people are breaking, why don't you get off your fat ass*s and prevent those kind of crimes? I just got on this forum for some friendly advice, but you overgrown nerds that probably got picked on in school have to harass me. I will never got on this prejudiced forum again--Man it feels sooo good to have the last words.
jmscott42 08-07-07, 03:59 PM Discussing breaking of laws, be they laws you agree with or not, is a very easy way to get a site in hot water and shut down. Be it by the government, or a company with an interest in keeping the laws the way they are (Macrovision, et al). Lawsuits can do wonders against small companies/groups that don't have the money to fight it.
I'd much rather keep the talk 'legal' and keep this awesome resource alive.
There are plenty of places you can find whatever information you seek. Ever hear of Google?
To "someone with a life":
It must be HELL! :(

Spoken like a retarded juvenile. Way to go DynaMike.

And you think you'll be missed?
westgate 08-07-07, 04:23 PM dynamike, theres too much to be learned from this forum to quit like that. those guys may have been a little blunt but they are right. sleep on it and return tomorrow!
Calling us "Americans" and seeming not to care about our Copyright laws might be clues... this guy might be a 16-yr-old GERMAN gamer, if it's this guy (http://www.xfire.com/profile/thedynamike/)!
DynaMike, is this you???

DynaMike, is this you???How do you find this stuff?!?
You absolutely amaze me.

I doubt that's him. It says he has 10 friends.
Isn't it ironic that this thread of DynaMike's has received more replies than his other threads?
dmeader 08-07-07, 07:15 PM Man it feels sooo good to have the last words.
You didn't.
Church AV Guy 08-07-07, 07:18 PM DynaMike, I have to say, in the AVS forum title page, under DVD Recorders, it very clearly says:
NOTE...We do not allow the chat on copying of software.
Now I don't want to sound harsh, BUT if you post here, stick with the rules. These are very clearly stated. I also should point out that you got your question answered, in two different threads. Those of us who like this forum, and don't want it shut down, feel it necessary to reminding people of the rules now and then to make sure the forum continues. Even though murders take place, the police still hand out parking tickets.

Oddly enough, they even catch murders by giving out parking tickets. I think that's how they caught Son of Sam, among others...
... Talk about losers...
Holy Cr*p! Where did that tirade come from?!
... this guy might be a 16-yr-old GERMAN gamer, if it's this guy! ...
Please: I have some very nice German friends (driving down the PCH to visit as we type), don't insult them!
P.S. Did anyone ever see the movie Bagdad Café? I loved that thing "a somewhat surreal comedy set in a down-at-heel truck-stop café and motel in the Mojave Desert", but then ... I am a bit of a loser, or German maybe, or both!
vferrari 08-07-07, 10:36 PM Dynamike - we hardly knew ye! (Thank goodness)
Kelson, do you and Jmas and SLPRp1 not have anything better to do than sit on this site all day and make sure no one talks about copying dvd's? Well, I don't for a minute believe you are not going to log in to see the responses. I'm going to ignore the rest of your childish post because there is nothing worth responding to. But I will take the time to explain a little to you: There are many threads and recent posts here that discuss software and methods, using both PC's and DVD recorders, for users to make backup copies for personal use of media they have legally purchased -- that's the key -- personal use backups of legally purchased media. We talk about that quite freely.
You came in here on your very first post asking how to copy rented DVD's. That's like checking out music CD's from the library and ripping copies onto your ipod. It's illegal under US law -- whether you like it or not -- it's piracy, it's stealing and it's against forum rules to discuss it. You just couldn't take the hint over your next 3 posts and ended up pitching a hissy fit because nobody would tell you what you wanted to know. When you get tired of slapping your hands and feet against the floor, sit up and look in a mirror -- Now, who's the loser.

AND STOP COMMENTING ON IT......PLEASE!
DON'T WASTE YOUR PRECIOUS TIME ON THIS (TRUE) LOSER!
HE'S ALREADY GOTTEN WAY TOO MUCH ATTENTION OUT OF THIS!
HE KNEW FROM THE OUTSET THAT HE WAS ASKING QUESTIONS HE SHOULDN'T HAVE BEEN ASKING!......THIS TIRADE IS SHEER NONSENSE!
MANIACS SUCH AS THIS SHOULD SIMPLY BE REPORTED AND (HOPEFULLY)
BANNED FROM THIS FORUM!!
PLEASE STOP GIVING HIM THE ATTENTION HE'S BEEN GETTING!
THAT JOB SHOULD BE SAVED FOR HIS PSYCHIATRIST!
......BUT SERIOUSLY, FOLKS......JUST REPORT IT. PERIOD, END OF STORY!
THANKS!

so much attention!!
vferrari 08-08-07, 09:23 PM Aw c'mon slprp, we're just havin' a bit o' fun with the boy. And besides, you keep back-to-back postin' to tell us to quit postin' - LOL! I wouldn't worry about it tho'. I think Napoleon is too busy feedin' his llama to come back here and read this thread anyway.

This is what happens when people grow up on MySpace and FaceBook instead of the real internet! It's all about drama and wasting bandwidth :)
