MEC2 08-07-07, 05:28 PM Spielberg = Douchebag DeathStalker2 08-07-07, 05:36 PM Where did you get the info from? Link please? buddahead 08-07-07, 05:42 PM They have no reason to complain when HDDVD dies.It need's good horror movies like this to survive. What dumass is in charge of this crap.BOB Sporadic 08-07-07, 05:45 PM Where did you get the info from? Link please? It was a rumored title along with Twilight Zone: The Movie (which has since been announced) DeathStalker2 08-07-07, 05:50 PM It was a rumored title along with Twilight Zone: The Movie (which has since been announced) I knew it was rumored to come out but I'm asking where he got the info for it being pulled. bboisvert 08-07-07, 06:08 PM Spielberg = Douchebag Not only is that uncalled for... it assumes facts not in evidence. Speilberg doesn't have control over everything he's produced or directed. And I believe Poltergeist is one of those that he has no say about in terms of release and distribution. If it is not coming out on HD DVD/BD this fall, it's because of Warner, not Steve. beatboy77 08-07-07, 06:50 PM I knew it was rumored to come out but I'm asking where he got the info for it being pulled. My contact at WB emailed me with the information a few hours a go. Who knows, they (WB) may decide to still release it. ~Josh bruss 08-07-07, 08:03 PM Not only is that uncalled for... it assumes facts not in evidence. (Yes, I did a search.) It's Warner so it will be released on both formats. If your going to sh*t in everyone's cereal with this potential bad news, why not sh*t in BR software's cereal too? I really hope this is not true. ShagMan 08-08-07, 10:52 AM sonova!!! Dave_6 08-08-07, 11:12 AM That sucks.... Topweasel 08-08-07, 11:22 AM I have a question. If it hasn't been announced how can it be pulled? Damed 08-08-07, 11:33 AM this announcement sucks nuts. I really was looking forward to this title. DM2006RI 08-08-07, 11:37 AM I have a question. If it hasn't been announced how can it be pulled? Exactly right. It never was officially announced, just "in development" via chats and such. This is, what, like the second or third time in the last few YEARS that Warner has talked about releasing a new edition of POLTERGEIST -- only to opt not to release it. Obviously I'll believe it's coming out -- when we actually get an official announcement. GlennRW 08-09-07, 02:03 AM My contact at WB emailed me with the information a few hours a go.
