Hi all, recently i ordered a Angel Boxset 1-5, it was imported from Shanghai so it was cheaper than the UK versions, however i cannot get it to play on anything, not very well anyway, On my DVD player it skips every time it changes chapter, on my Macbook it stops at a certain point and cannot read the disk anymore, on my PS2 it skips chapters at a time... i asked if the disks would play before i ordered them and he said it would be fine because they're region free which is strange because they say NTSC 1 on the disks...but if they were NTSC 1 they would play on my appliances right?, should i invest in a decent region free dvd player see if i can get them working? as the seller doesn't seem to be responding to my returns request.

Perhaps not a region issue, but a poorly mastered pirated version. Some of these pirated ones have such good printed covers that they are hard to tell apart. One area to check is the barcode -- sometimes they are from another movie -- as they are a PS cut/paste job.
