With the recently announced release dates of Death Proof on 9/18 and Planet Terror on 10/16... I want to know where the HD DVD announcements are! I purposely skipped this in the theater saying, "Oh, I'll wait for HD DVD." So, c'mon already!
Weinstien has totally dropped the ball and it's starting to irritate me...

I skipped the theater as well, waiting for HD DVD
but to say they dropped the ball, is being extremely impatient
why are the SD versions released on separate days????
rather have kill bill but they didn't announce that either.
your not missing much that’s $12.50 and hours off my life I wish I had back! So just hold on a little longer.

I'm really irritated they chopped them up. It was supposed to be a double feature. Freaking studios.

It's not looking good. No announcement for weinstein on any titles. We didn't even get Nomad in HD DVD when it came out on DVD.
To make matters worse, paidgeek has hinted that they are going neutral this holiday season.

Well... if that's the case then at least we know that the Blu boys will get irritated too when they've stopped releasing titles ;)

It would be nice to hear something from Weinstein, their releases are all top-notch!

I certainly hope this is coming out on HD-DVD
Weinstein has always released their HD DVDs well after the initial DVD release. Day-and-date is not something they're familiar with.
