Use code paypal20 to save $20 on $100.
I just bought a MB for my new computer and used the code, but newegg has lots of hd-dvd's at pretty decent prices.

Good deal for those titles you couldn't get from Warner.

ALSO I think it works for hd-dvd players:

Try it and let us know. Probably won't work on refurbs or open box items.
They have toshiba players and the 360 add on.

Works only once for each newegg account.

Check that your paypal address matches your newegg one. Exactly. Like Street and St. isn't a match. I think it's a requirement. I think you have to be verified as well. I'm reading all this on other forums and just trying to help in case someone can't get it to work.

Saw this on slickdeals

They don't ship internationally.
I kind of reckoned.

Maybe I'm an idiot, but where do you put in the coupon code? I went through the Paypal order process right up to the Confirm point, and I didn't see a place to enter the coupon code.

It says "enter promo code" after you add something to your cart/on the cart screen. Towards the bottom of the screen right above the "Grand Total"

I see the "promo code" box after I added some computer hardware. It doesn't seem to work if you're buying only HD-DVD titles.

Man, that is weird. I need another newegg account to test this stuff out. Sorry I thought it worked. Try adding something cheap like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?ATT=17394023&CMP=AFC-SlickDeals&Item=N82E16817394023

Kinda' ruins the deal though.

Glad it helped you out. I spose someone should post in the deals forum and but I think you have to be a gold member or something for that (which I am not). I'm off to bed, hope this helps some folks save some money, even if it isn't on hd-dvd's like I initially thought.

No problem. Thanks for the heads up on the coupon. According to Slickdeals, it expires on Sept 5th, so there's plenty of time to use it.

It's too bad I didn't have this a few days earlier. I just picked up a webcam at Amazon last weekend. I could of added a few HD titles and gotten a good deal. But I'm sure I'll need some other hardware within the next 4 weeks.

And let me tell you that card ROCKS!!! I'm feeding my JVC RS-1 with it and it's spectacular at 1080p! The card is solid. Not a problem yet! Enjoy!

And to keep on topic, nice find! I'm needing some more RAM and a few other things for my server (eSata cable to extend another 500GB from a myBook). Perfect for my needs...and I have PayPal cash ready to spend! :)

Damn!! Missed it by a few hours. Early evening yesterday, I ordered a Plextor DVD burner from Newegg. It was $69. plus a $30 off mail in rebate. I could've added an HD movie or 2, used the $20 coupon and gotten that burner for $20. Oh Well !!. Maybe I can find some other toy to buy.
I do love Newegg, though. Their shipping is incredible. They are in NJ, I am in MA. I ordered it last night (regular, free shipping) and it's due here today!! Tough to beat.

The place for the code unfortunately does not show up if you only order high def disc, you need to order something else that is elligible for the discount, like a cheap USB hub, or some other qualifying piece of electronics you need.

This would be a Great time to add pick up an External 750GB hard drive, if you have Dish network, and the 622 receiver.

works on Xbox360 HD-DVD add-on!

It does work on HD-DVD's if you add a piece of hardware. There's a cable that is $5.18 and free shipping, so it could be a good deal if you are interested in a $14.82 coupon.

Yes, the timing was just wrong for me too. I ordered a wireless bridge and about four hours later saw this thread -- too late :(! I'm in Delaware so like you, I've one day transit UPS.

Yep, I'm going to grab a 500 gb hard drive for 77 dollars when you figure the 20 bucks off and the rebates!

According to the Slick Deals post, the promo coupon was only good through 8/10.
