What's the best way for determining if USA Blu-exclusive titles might see the light of day outside the US on HD-DVD (through other distributors)? Is it specific to individual films or are there general trends with certain studios?

Studio Canal and Warner Bros. both release a bunch of BD exclusives on HD DVD in Europe, so that might be a good place to look.

Also don't forget to keep an eye on the Imports sticky thread in this HD DVD Software section of the AVS Forum. New releases are usually mentioned there.
