I have a Sony DVP-NC85h upscaling DVD player connected to a Westinghouse 32w3 HDTV. For the first two or three weeks I got a picture just fine through HDMI @ 1080i. I didn't use the player for about a week and when I tried to go back to using it, the picture and sound through HDMI stopped working. The blue HDMI indicator just blinks and the screen says No Input Signal. The player would not display through HDMI on my friends Toshiba DLP either.

I have tried everything I could think of from cycling the power, messing with the pscan on the player, messing with resolutions and other settings in the player's menu and trawling through the menu for the TV as well. I can't get it to work. I do get picture through composite and component though as well as audio through optical.

Did the HDMI on the player just die out? Can this be fixed easily or sent in to Sony or returned for a new player?
