This may be an unusual question, but I have an H10-250 and am thinking about upgrading to an HR20, but I have a motorhome with a single LNB dish on top and I like to take the DVR with me on trips to watch recorded programming and occassionally use the dish. Can the HR20 be set to use the single LNB round dish?

(I know it will only receive basic SD programming)

I think so. Try going into the set up menu, and see if there are dish options. I know the HR10, and all the other D* HD receivers do.

Even if it isn't, the worst case scenario is that you'll get the "no signal" message when you hit channels that are somewhere other than on the 101. You should get everything on the 101 (Sat A) regardless of the setting.
