Hello all... I love this movie. I bought the french HD-DVD from Xploited Cinema a few months ago, and the quality is great, but the audio is sped up... or high pitched... or whatever you want to refer to it as...

The Blu-Ray version is still MIA...

So my question to the forum is... does anybody know if any other region got this title with the correct audio track? I think it has been released to Australia, UK and perhaps Germany (not sure), but I really want to get my hands on an HD copy, with the correct audio track. Jerry Goldsmith is my favorite composer, and to have his music represented incorrectly kills me...

Any info? Anyone? (Thanks in advance!)

not sure mate. But i'm in Australia and i picked up all 3 rambo movies the other day. I can try to work out if i think it sounds off but not sure. It is definitely a Studio Canal release though

I believe the Australian discs are duplicates of the European copies, just in different packaging.

Buy the UK HD-DVD from Momentum.

Shawn - have you compared the UK version to the French version?

Is there someplace that would list the video/audio specs? Amazon UK doesn't provide much information at all...

Thanks to everyone helping in this matter...

Same thing as the Studio Canal.

Is the UK audio different from the French?
One of the list here of pitch problems seem to come from French HD releases.
I've got two and haven't noticed sound problems.

well i watched rambo 2 the other night and honestly i'm not sure if the sound is messe dup or not. Without being able to compare it to something i can't be sure. However, the music does sound a little "off" in parts so maybe it isn't right
