Simulcast on WJLA in Washington. billyrayvalentin 08-11-07, 07:39 PM Picture looks good on D*, graphics need to be moved closer to the edge at least if they are going to leave the score bug in the middle. Max MacKay 08-11-07, 07:48 PM On D* I am still getting macroblocking on closeups. :( I agree they need to move the scoreboard graphic to the top edge of the screen. SbWillie 08-11-07, 08:28 PM pic may be good but JC is getting nothing from the O-line or his WRs tonight! mx6bfast 08-11-07, 08:33 PM :28 seconds left in teh 2nd quarter and I just turned this on. First thing I see is a closeup of some Redskins player running into position. Terrible blocking. I'm going to change it back to MLS. jefbal99 08-12-07, 12:09 PM Looked stellar, much better than the CBS broadcast on Friday night Comcast in Lansing MI jefbal99 08-12-07, 12:15 PM Looked stellar, much better than the CBS broadcast on Friday night Comcast in Lansing MI bfdtv 08-12-07, 12:30 PM Looked great on FiOS. Virtually no macroblocking on NFL-HD. Todd 08-12-07, 12:35 PM I thought it looked like crap on D*. Too much macroblocking.... JMCecil 08-12-07, 03:09 PM Looked stellar, much better than the CBS broadcast on Friday night Comcast in Lansing MI One of these days we'll figure this out, because the CBS game on Friday looked awesome here and the Titans game was a macro-block, fizz-fest on D*. Clarence 08-12-07, 03:56 PM Comcast cable in Loudoun Co VA. NFL Network HD. Motorola 6412 DVR. I had glitches throughout the game every 60-90 seconds... dozens of half-inch squares accompanied by a slight frame freeze and/or half-second audio dropout. I get those every once in a while on Channel 7 (707). I checked the other DVR upstairs... same thing. Otherwise, PQ was very good. Lots of sloppy cuts to and from commercial breaks. And they showed the same commercials a dozen times. As an Auburn fan ('89 CPE), I'm rooting for Jason Campbell (and I felt bad for John Vaughn's first FG miss). Jason did OK.. a couple of good passes early for some first downs, but then he started getting hit. The offensive line needs help. I know #17 will be happy to see Chris Samuels return at left tackle. Jason keeps his eyes on secondary and tertiary receivers... he shouldn't have to spend too much of his attention watching for holes in his offensive line. Brunell sadly looked like his same old self. But Todd Collins looked great... 5 for 5 on the TD drive. LanceTX 08-12-07, 04:01 PM Watched this game on D* last night and yes, there was a lot of macroblocking and motion blur, noticeably more than during the NO/PIT game on NFLN last weekend. The NO/BUF game on CBS (via D* HD local) Friday night wasn't any better. However, the Dallas/Indy game last Thursday night on FOX (also via D* HD local) looked absolutely stellar. |
