60gb PS3 and a Wireless Belkin router. the PS3 connects with any problem to the PS store and whatsoever, but whenever Resistance FOM loads up, i get the (u have been Disconnected) message and i cant log back in unless i close resistance. the error code is 80028ED6... not hits on google. it will work eventually if i start/close resistance many times which is really frustrating.

i have NEVER had ANY lucky with anything made by belkin. i woudl ditch it for a linksys, i ahve 0 problems with mine. even with 3 PC's and 1 xbox direct wired, PS3, Wii, and 2 laptops over wifi

the belkin router is fine. the best on the market today. just go into your firm ware settings, and set the ps3 ip address outside the dmz. a 1 min fix

I had this problem too. I think it started happening after the most recent firmware update. Try disabling the media server from the PS3. If you still have it after doing that, call SONY and tell them about the error code. They will tell you that you need to do port fowarding with your router. They will give you the specific codes that need to be entered.
