Hostel premiered on showtime tonight

right in the middle of the F-ing movie, they put a giant ad on the bottom of the screen for Weeds and Californication

and they did it 3 TIMES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

is this the norm for pay channels now ????????

if it is, i'll be canceling that garbage soon

such an intense "on the edge of your seat" movie and pop-ups for weeds !?!?!?????

WTF ???????????????

i am so pissed. i would expect something like this for TNT but not a premium pay movie channel

and not that it matters that much but the dolby digital dropped to pro logic during the credits. presumably so that they could run their split screen "credits/promos" which is more horse $hit

i like to watch the full credits on the whole screen, not a tiny little part of it

might as well dump cable and go out to the movies or buy the dvd

Call the network and tell them you are not happy!

anyone have a phone # or email address ?

i've check the showtime website and can't seem to find anything (i wonder why)

the thing i can't understand is, if you're already a paying showtime customer, why the pop-ups ?????????????????????

are they thinking "well, he's a paying customer but maybe what he's watching kinda sucks and we don't want him to quit subscribing so we better put up a big ad so that he wont quit us". i can't see how this is helping them get more or keep current subscribers. no matter how you look at it, it's just stupid

imagine listening to the radio and in the middle of a song "uh, coming up later, we're gonna play free bird, now back to your song". now imagine that on sirius or xm where you're PAYING to hear the music

I am in complete agreement with you. Unless someone has a specific email address to share, the only way to communicate with a network is through their general website email address or direct mail. It's the best kept secret in the world. I wonder why.
