I have a sv2000 dvd recorder vcr combo. I have recorded about 25 movies with it so far. And now all I get is a error code saying that the disc is not able to be recorded on. They are from the same stack of disks the other 25 were recorded on. Does anyone know what my problem may be? The disks I have are maxell 16x. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sometimes, you just have to try other discs with any burner. The batch may be fine but individuals discs might still be out of spec. Have you tried a lens cleaning disc yet?
