I bought this recorder, im currently recording a Deul Layer disc. WIll it stop in the middle of the recording for me to close the first layer, or will it record until the disc is full?

I bought this recorder, im currently recording a Deul Layer disc. WIll it stop in the middle of the recording for me to close the first layer, or will it record until the disc is full?Like the ES15, it will stop at the first layer. From page 16 of the manual (http://www.panasonic.ca/PDP/OperatingInstructions/dmres16-oi-eng.pdf):

It is not possible to record continuously from the first layer to the second layer. Recording stops when space on the first layer becomes full. You must close the first layer to start recording on the second layer. Closing makes the first layer unavailable for recording (editing is still available). You cannot cancel closing. Make certain before proceeding.
