I'm having problems with the BDP-S300 player freezing or pausing for a second or two when playing a movie it does it more when playing a regular dvd . if i try and play a movie it will freeze or pause but if i back up right then and try to replay it ..the unit does fine it acts like it loads part of the movie in a buffer .Has anyone had this same problem i've only has this a couple of weeks

Dont think so, its his 1st post genius... I also have the Sony Bpd-300 and I hate to tell you It has performed flawlessly for the last 7 weeks, it has never froze up. If its doing it on different dvds then return it to the store where you purchased it..
