I'm looking for a plasma or LCD 40" or smaller with cablecard slot due to a lack of space for a cablebox. I was looking for a list of TVs that has cablecard in them. Anyone with a quick list off the top of their heads?

Thanks

As you know they are getting scarce. Pioneer features them but they have nothing under 42". If you have the space for the extra width this is likely your best bet. I haven't found a single LCD model in the 32"-42" size range with it either...but haven't seen them all.

Good Luck.

Thanks, 42" might be too big for the bed room. About 6 feet away may be too close.

I noticed this last night while researching the new Panasonic 700/750 series. Just WHY are they getting scarce? I disappointed that it's not available on the new Panny--to me it seems like a big omission.

Some of the Phillips still have them but I'm not that big a fan of Phillips. I wish that they would put in most flat panels. It's so convenient. Not everybody is going to want the DVR feature.

I am also looking for a TV with a cable card for my bedroom. I am looking at 42" model; specifically the Hitachi 42HDS69. I can't believe TVs are getting this scarce. Mine is going over a gas fireplace - definitely no room for a cable box.
