Is it possible to use a Spyder colorimeter to set CW delay? Will CW delay affect my primaries?

what is "CW delay?" I'm not familiar with that term.

Here's an article (scroll down to the Color Wheel section) by Collinp that describes a method for setting the Index Delay (Color Wheel delay) on an earlier model Samsung dlp unit using a spectrometric method: GadgetBench (http://www.gadgetbench.com/hlpnotes/index.php). Don't know if will work with your sensor or TV.

Thanks, Don. Too bad I can't get a spectrum with my spyder sensor. But I'm guessing the CW delay will affect my primaries, so I think I can adjust it to a ballpark figure using a CIE chart, maybe...?

I use a horizontal gray ramp pattern as setting CW Delay wrong produces banding in the grayscale with my Benq 8720. Works very well.
