ChrisWiggles 08-16-07, 10:00 PM what is "CW delay?" I'm not familiar with that term. Michael TLV 08-16-07, 10:55 PM Greetings Color Wheel Delay Regards donb1948 08-18-07, 12:09 AM Here's an article (scroll down to the Color Wheel section) by Collinp that describes a method for setting the Index Delay (Color Wheel delay) on an earlier model Samsung dlp unit using a spectrometric method: GadgetBench (http://www.gadgetbench.com/hlpnotes/index.php). Don't know if will work with your sensor or TV. atledreier 08-18-07, 04:16 AM Thanks, Don. Too bad I can't get a spectrum with my spyder sensor. But I'm guessing the CW delay will affect my primaries, so I think I can adjust it to a ballpark figure using a CIE chart, maybe...? Daniel.N 08-18-07, 06:41 AM I use a horizontal gray ramp pattern as setting CW Delay wrong produces banding in the grayscale with my Benq 8720. Works very well. atledreier 08-19-07, 03:25 AM Thanks, I'll whip out the ol' DVE, then! :) Thanks |
