Hi all,
Here's my situation - I have multiple pieces of equipment that I would like to consolidate into one home theater solution.
The pieces:
1) High End gaming PC
2) Lacie Electron22Blue III Monitor (capable of 2048 x 1536 res)
3) Xbox 360 elite
4) DirectTV Receiver (plain, no frills)
5) 5 Disc sony DVD changer
6) DSL w/ Wireless
7) Assortment of speakers
What I'd like to do
A) Purchse a receiver that I can plug all of the above into
B) Use the Lacie Electron22Blue as my 'tv' for the whole thing
The biggest hurdle I see is what is the correct way to make whatever receiver I buy work correctly with my monitor. Is it as simple as using a RGB to VGA connector? Will I have to be some sort of converter between the receiver and monitor?
Thanks!
