I know we all have resonance problems. Ive got rid of all of my resonance pbroblems except for the fire detector and one window(it has three horrizontal slats. Its not the frame that rattling but its the actual window panes that are rattling...as you all know this is annoying as hell. Anybody have any diy fixes for this? All suggestions are helpful no matter how radical ;) I don't absolutely need the use of the window as long as it will hold a seal.

First thing that came to mind was to be sure the window is properly glazed. Then, after that, perhaps try using an adhesive to glue something(s) on the glass to alter/dampen the resonance.
Silicone caulking between window and frame.
Or just run a few wooden wedges between window and frame to make sure it's tight.
Remove any artificial light dividers, as they will just rattle no matter what. (Unless you glue them to the glazing)

Are you buying the home? They make acoustic windows.

If you press on the glass when the rattling occurs, you isolate the area. If the glass is hitting one or multiple horizontal slats, maybe you can slide a thin foam in there?
If the glass is hitting the frame, others mentioned how to fix that :D

I just knew there would be problems when Bill Gates came up with the Windows idea.
