Hi All,

A friend of mine is ready to sell an Earthquake XJ-600-R amplifier to use with Earthquake Thor 10" in-wall subwoofer.

Link: http://www.earthquakesound.com/xj600.htm

Would you recommend it over Behringer A-500 or 1500 or 2500 (not bothering about the additional subwoofers that I might be able to attach to a 1500)?

Please respond ASAP.

NOTE: Sorry, I posted it in two forums (Sub & Amp) since I want to know the answer ASAP.

Regards,
Radha Krishnan

I'd get the EP2500 for further expansion.
More power is always good. Way better than to have not enough.

Depending on what kind of deal you are getting, the XJ is a great amp and the room correction it can provide makes it an even better deal. More power is good if you can use properly utilize it and the XJ-600 has plenty of reserves for use with a subwoofer system like the THOR, trust me.
