I got Bishock for 47.99 at TRU last tuesday! but I usually buy my games at fry's on the first day! It usually 44-49 bucks.

don't have a link...but they've been doing that for every semi-big release since the 360's been around (or close to it). The first day the game is released, you can grab it from them for $10 less

Buy.com usually beats retail by a couple of dollars and doesn't have tax. If they offer free shipping it could be $57.99---with google checkout first time user--minus another $10 (PS if you've used it before just set up a new email address)

So when is the best time to show up at CC, BB etc. to get the game on Tuesday? 10 am?

Wow $50 for the 360 version and $40 for the pc. I've noticed circuit city likes to undercut competitors on new releases. Good deal!

Please don't. DVDTalk got a cease and desist letter from CC lawyers to not post the ad even in simple text form.

CC has to have it in stock for Best Buy to price match. I've done this a few times and BB always checks the CC stores to make sure they have it prior to adjusting the price.

I have to admit, Im surprised to learn that the game is actually available at some places for less than the retail price. I thought almost all new games, especially high profile ones, came in at pretty much the retail. Needless to say, I am now going to purchase this at Circuit City for $10 cheaper, even though Im sure Best Buy will price match. I cannot stand Best Buy's pricing any more so I enjoy not buying from them any time I am in the market for something new ; )

That is usually true. Best you guys call them to make sure its in stock.

I always get Best Buy to price match so I can get Reward Zone points for it. You just have to make sure to bring in a physical copy of CC's ad and there should be no problem with doing the price match without calling CC to verify. The few times BB has called and CC didn't have it in stock, I told the cashier/customer service drone that I would stand around and wait until they called every single CC in the Chicago area because there will be at least one with the item in stock. That pretty much shuts them up, and they'll do the price match.

I'll be doing that tomorrow with Bioshock. $49.99 + $15 in reward certificates = win. :D

I preordered from Liongames and emailed him to ask if it would be shipped earlier so we would get it closer to the 21st. He said that he is getting it on the 21st from his distributor so he will be shipping on the 21st :( Oh well, atleast it was cheap. I too got the USPS click n ship notice too.

You are correct, it is now, but it was at the lower price yesterday (when I put in my order).

In the spirit of full disclosure, Tony responded. In case anyone is wondering, he's only about 1/3 of the way through sending out the USPS Ship and Click notices. My guess is he got a huge response for the great offer.

Hrrmmm... Still no email from them that a label was created. The website is still showing that order as "not yet shipped."

I called the store yesterday to inquire about the order. The CSR recommended I send an email because the owner was working the website from home. Alrighty so I sent an email to sales@liongames.com and info@liongames.com asking about the status of my order and got no response.

Um, have a little patience and wait a full 24 hours for a response? The poor guy is probably flooded with e-mails from people such as yourself with the exact same questions. Granted, it's largely his fault for offering such a sweet deal, but if he's by himself you can't expect an instant response.

I almost panicked. I canceled my pre-order from CC because I wasn't sure I would have the game before the weekend and I really want to put a dent into it this Saturday.

I tried in store pickup on-line this morning with no luck. Nothing at CC and the closest BB that had games in stock was about 1.5 hours away.

Fortunately, the local Gamestop near my work had one copy left when I stopped by this morning at 10AM.

I can't wait to get home tonight. It's a shame the game does not have MP but I'm sure it will be a blast nonetheless.

Just came back from Fry's in Austin, TX and they have Bioshock priced at $49.99. They had plenty copies when I picked mine up. Now I just have to wait until I get off work to play.....

Got mine an 2 hours ago during lunch at Best Buy in Westbury, LI. No problem price matching to Circuit City based on the ad.

They had a table set up at the door with a ton of copies of Bioshock on it.

I went by CC at lunch time and they were all sold out. The guy in front of me bought the last copy...grrr! In a panic, I rushed across the street and managed to snag the last unreserved copy from EBGames. I guess I underestimated the demand for this game. I'm really glad I didn't wait until after work to pick the game up!

Yeah. The one in the North Hills probably had 100 when I walked in at 10am. They had a special display set-up for them.

Still nothing from liongames. I ALWAYS get screwed.

Just be patient. I didn't get Forza 2 till a few (3 or 4) days after release. I figure the $20 savings should be worth it.

My cousin went by Fry's and they had sold out of 50 copies by mid day :D . Oh and they only had 1 360 left in stock and it was an Elite , the salesperson told him they have been selling like crazy . He said there was a stack of PS3's about 4' high and 2 rows deep sitting there next to the single Elite .
