Hi there, I'm having the hardest time deciding between 1 Paradigm Seismic 12 or 2 SVS SB12-Plus. My Room size is 14 W X 22 L X 7 H. I sit only 8 feet away because of a pole in the middle of my room that limits where I move my chair back.

Energy Reference RC-70 LR
Energy Reference RC-LCR Center
Energy Reference RC-10 Rears
Yamaha RX-V2700

Size is a factor because of the width of my room, so I wanted to keep it small. Price is also a factor, wanted to keep it under $2000 CDN. After Taxes they are pretty much identical in price. Was wondering which would give me the best for Home Theatre use? I only do 2 Channel for music, so I could care less about the subs for music. Just home theater. So what is your opinion guys? I would probably eventually add a second seismic down the line.

Thx guys.

I'd go with the Seismic. It'll dig a bit deeper than the SB12s.

The Paradigm Seismic 12 does not really dig deeper than the SB12. The main advantage is the Seismic 12 can move more air,not to be challenged.

The Seismic 12 woofer is complemented by dual PR's and this is like using a port so to speak, helps greatly down deep.Output will be higher down deep.

I apologize if you are not looking for any other brand input. But if you are still open to it, I have found the Sunfire line to be an incredible mix of big deep sound without taking up space. Most people don't even notice that I have a sub. Two Sunfire Jr's or one Sunfire EQ would be worth auditioning.
