I know that there are devices that allow Xbox 1 saves to be tranferred to the 360 hard drive. However, is there a way to transfer Xbox 1 saves off of the 360 hard drive? I'm playing a lot of GTA: SA right now (and will continue to do so since GTA 4 won't be out for quite a while), and I don't want to lose the saves in the event of a hardware failure. Ideally, I'd like to move the saves to my pc hard drive.
Any ideas?
If you have a "hardware" failure, your harddrive (and thus saves) will still be good. If your harddrive goes though, thats when you have to worry....but that isnt something that has been happening really with the 360 thus far.
I wish there were a way to get Xbox 1 saves onto the 360.

The Hard Drive is "Hardware" too.

Yes, but it sounds as if he's thinking he'll lose everything if he's 360 has any general hardware failure, which isnt true. Yes, the harddrive is "Hardware", but if he was worried about a harddrive failure I think he'd say just that. Who knows though.

I'm basically worried about anything that will cause those saves to be lost, which is why I want to create backups.
I'm just surprised that getting saves onto the 360's hard drive is relatively easy, while getting them off appears impossible.

You can use Datel's Transfer Kit and/or Xport.

I just replaced my 360 last week with one of the new HDMI versions. I kept my old hard drive because I wanted to keep my saves. I don't have many xbox1 saves but I noticed that my Halo2 maps and my Ninja Gaiden Black save files were corrupted on the new system. Shenmue was fine. I was surprised to see my DOA4 and Dead Rising save files were still working as I had heard rumors that those save files are console ID locked.
