I have my 360 going into the router and im connected all the time, works great. I used to have wmc and I could stream songs and pics without a problem. Well I updated to WMP 11 and it removed my windows connect because it have WMC built in. The problem is it doesnt even see the 360 when I go to the share menu. the 360 see its wired, gets the IP, sees the computer but cant connect to it. What gives?

have you turned sharing on in WMP11? Click the arrow under the Library tab, and select Media Sharing. Turn on media sharing. After you select some parameters for what can be shared, click ok. Then go back into the media sharing option and you should see the 360 as one of the devices you can share with...

Yep, make sure sharing is turned on, but in addition, you might double check your Antivirus software. WMP 11 interracts more with most antivirus softwares and I actually wasnt able to stream stuff to my receiver from WMP11 until I disabled the software altogether. Give that a shot, but like slcsnkman says make sure media sharing is turned on in WMP11

I am just trying to figure out why the router would be the problem if the same router was working before with the Zune software. I would DL the Zune software again and see if that works and it probably wont. Make sure you check the ports in the router firewall that are at xbox.com, I had a similar problem I just ended up formating after a couple of worthless calls to xbox, they are worthless.
