Hi folks,

Im new to the whole forum thing. What a great place to exchange info! I have had my HDTV for a year, but I am just now learning of the calibration adjustments that can be made. I tried looking online for the DVD's but just got more confused!! Does anyone have this same DLP that can help me or guide me in the right direction. I have tried to look up some good starter settings as well and can't seem to find any either. I probably am just not looking in the right place.

I'm not sure if starter settings were ever posted on your display; however, selecting the movie mode and turning DNIe to off is a good start on this display. Also, if you have a copy of "Digital Video Essentials" it will help a great deal in dialing in your user menu adjustments. We have a tutorial explaining this here:

GetGray... online order, download and burn to a DVD. Couldn't be much easier, but for the fact you need some blue filter/glasses. Those run about $3 from the THX website.
