I rememebr back in the day when I positioned my subwoofer under a shelf on which a REGULAR Tube TV was sitting and this waved poped up on my TV. Magnetic wave, perhaps the subwoofer has a big magnet in it and my old TV had a Magnetic Tube inside. (Sorry if this is wrong, I am not sure).

Today, I have a new speaker system and an LCD TV. Now can I somehow damage my LCD TV by placing the subwoofer under the shelf on which the LCD TV is sitting ?

Magnets only effect CRT televisions. Should have no effect on an LCD television.

Also those speakers are computer speakers, and should be VERY well shielded, so even if you had a CRT television, it would have little to no effect.
