With the Panasonic EH55S is there a faster way to combine chapters other than going one by one?

Any takers on this?

Maybe one reason you haven't had any takers is that nobody has ever wanted to do this before? I have recorded many concerts and painstakingly added around 40 chapter markers manually per concert. While adding them or after adding them I have never needed to delete or change more than one of them per program. Maybe nobody else has a need to do mass chapter mark deletes? Just curious how you ended up with so many unwanted chapter marks. I am not aware of a way to do mass chapter combines but there might be a way on the newer Panasonics since mine are "Long In Tooth". I have never needed that feature so it could be there and I have never used it?

After doing the chapter marks, I decided I wanted to cut down on the number of chapters and redo the entire operation therefore returning things back to it's original form and start all over.

That's a good argument for first creating a playlist from the title that you want to divide up into chapters, and then creating the chapters in the playlist. That way, if you decide you need to start over, simply delete the playlist and create a fresh one.

I have never hear this question before, so congratulations! To address the issue, I have never needed to put together many chapters, maybe one or two now and then. I have seen no indication that it can be done in any way other than the combine chapter option, which only works with two at a time into one. You could try selecting some with the pause (checkmark) and then attempt to select "combine." If that doesn't work, then I suspect it's not possible. I have never heard of another manufacturer having this feature either.
