I have a marquee 8000 crt projector and a Home Theater master MX 800 remote.

I have been able to copy all the functions across form the marquee remote ok but not the power button. This is a 3 second hold button. Has any one ever been able to copy the power button across to a learning remote ???

Yes, I was able to copy it over to an MX-500, but it took more than one try.

yes i finally got it working but as it is a 3 second push button how would you put it in a macro ???

I have this same combo and issue.. I solved it by making the macro start with/ on the power button. I set the macro delay for 3 seconds, meaning you have to hold down the button for three seconds to activate the macro. This gave the pj a long enough IR blast to turn on, and then continued with the rest of the macro.
