Is there a place to find recommended shows to watch, HD and non-HD? I know the TV guide is one place but is there anywhere else? I have my favorites but it would be good to see what other people are watching/recommend to vary my viewing pleasure. Just curious :)

This is an HD forum. Read the topics on the various shows, to get an idea of what others here think.

I've found Entertainment Weekly to be a pretty good source for me. I've been turned on to many shows that I would not have watched or didn't even know about because of them. In addition to TV, they also carry news and reviews on all things, well, entertainment. They also have special sections for things like the Fall TV preview for all the new and returning tv shows. I'm sure many people may not agree with some of their reviews but it's still a good place to start.

You don't even necessarily have to subscribe to the magazine, I believe almost all of their reviews are online at www.ew.com.

You could also visit the Hot Off The Presses thread here at AVS. Fredfa posts numerous reviews from numerous critics about new and coming TV shows. I've found it valuable.

I second the Hot Off the Press thread, IMO it's one of the compilations of info around.
