What do you use for gamma correction in a HTPC setup ?
I know about the nvidia way but I'm using ATI and I haven't seen any release/progress of the ATI tool.
So what other means are there to achieve the same thing ?
Anyone using ffdshow or other filter combinations ?

FFDshow has uber extensive control over gamma and other color settings, but I'm not sure how to decide what to actually do with them. If you don't know what you want to do you can end up with something that looks a lot like a first-gen LCD projector in short order... :D

I'm guessing that if you have a Spyder II or some other sensor to see what's there objectively you could use FFDShow's correction in concert with that, but I'm not entirely sure. I'm pretty much a noob myself so you'd probably better look for more opinions!

well the thing is that in the nvidia control panel you can select multiple coordinates. If you search for nvidia and gamma you'll find the thread.
The filters I've looked at so far you can only set a low and high point.
Not multiple like in the nvidia panel.
