Hey,
Please help me choose a NEW middle Atlantic Equipment rack:
My Compnents:
1) HDTV Box
2) Pioneer Receiver
3) PS3
4) DVD Player
I find it confusing on the site as to which model to buy...
Which model is best for future expandability?
Where is the best place to buy?
What accesories do I need to buy?
Do shelves come with them?
What model do you have? Pics?
thank you!

You have so many questions. The best thing to do is give them a call. If they refer you to a dealer, talk to them. There are an infinite number of possibilities, there's no way to list them all here. Also, when you call Middle Atlantic, ask where to download their RackTools software. Then you can virtually build your own rack and print a bill of materials. It's easy!
EDIT- Their Slim5 series looks neat, but you don't have options for proper thermal management; the sides are open and there are no options for fans on the top. Just a warning.

Thanks for the reply.
I called and left a message. Does anyone else have some advice, info, or personal experience with these units?
Thank you

I installed my own MA rack unit (AXSXR, 42 rack height). The rack is capable of sliding out of the wall and rotating to provide the user with excellent access to the back of equipment for wiring and upgrades.
Make sure that you purchase a rack with enough extra space for future equipment. Get the tallest rack unit you can fit into your situation....the cost does not increase much for additional rack spaces.
